Our Team

Peak Empower consists of a board and a management team who run the day to day aspects of the charity, but it is our team of fantastic volunteers that really make a huge difference to what we are able to offer. We provide expert instruction through the high quality venues used for our many activities, both indoor and outdoor.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

We currently have two dedicated members of staff responsible for the day-to-day running of the charity and our courses.

I have worked in the charitable sector for over 15 years, raising the profile and funds for many organisations. In 2017 I was blessed with a little girl who was born with a genetic condition. Since then I have worked to educate myself on additional needs and in 2019 I co-founded Peak Empower with my friend Lucy and the support of our families, to ensure that those who are self-isolated for a range of reasons can seek help.

Its ironic that we do so many sports sessions and I am the opposite of a sporty person! I am always willing to give everything a go, so I am sure you will see me trying to learn to ride a bike on one of our courses this year, but I tend to be behind the scenes.

Hi I’m Carol,

I am 61 years old, and I live in Northampton. I enjoy swimming, green bowls, walking, football and cycling. I also enjoy baking, reading, and doing jigsaw puzzles. I am outgoing, and have a good sense of humour.
