The new gardening club will take place at midday 12-1pm at Fernie Fields Sensory garden. It starts this Friday and is £5 per family attending for 6 weeks (£30) please let me know if you are interested. There is a break over the half term.

Proposed Gardening Activities (not an exhaustive list)

·         Re-pot current Christmas tree and monitor and measure growth over the year

·         Plant seed potatoes and vegetable seeds. 

·         Sorting and planting saved seeds from last year’s pumpkin and seeing if we can produce new plants.

·         Choosing and planting flowers of different sizes and shapes, working out when to plant and how to plant to create the best display.

·         Preparing hanging baskets for planting for summer bedding plants

·         Creating a herb garden
